Pehmea OY – Rental terms and conditions

By submitting the rental form, you automatically agree to the following terms and conditions. The rental form serves as a contract between Pehmea OY and the Tenant.

Definitions

Landlord: Pehmea OY
Tenant: The person with whom the agreement has been made via the rental form
Device: Ice cream machine for rent
Rental period: Period from handover to return of the device
Rental day: One calendar day per rental period or separately agreed upon time
Agreement: A rental form that serves as a formal contract

2. Tenant's security deposits

The tenant has the right to enter into an agreement and use the device
The tenant has received information about the device's features, price and instructions for use.
The tenant agrees that any payment default may be reported to third parties.

3. Conclusion and validity of the contract

The contract is concluded when it is signed and is valid for the entire rental period.
The rental relationship begins at the beginning of the rental period and ends when the device is returned.
The rental day begins in the morning and ends in the evening, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Handover and return of equipment

The device is considered handed over upon signature.
The device will be returned to the same location at the end of the rental period.
The tenant must check the quantity and condition of the equipment immediately.
The device must be returned in the same condition as when it arrived (normal wear and tear allowed)
The device will be cleaned by the Lessor.
If the device is not in proper condition upon return, the Lessor has the right to charge a contractual penalty (40% of the device's value).
If the device is lost or returned late, the Renter is responsible for all search, transportation and cleaning costs.

5. Rental price

The price stated in the rental agreement is paid in cash or by bank transfer.
In the event of delay, the Lessor has the right to charge interest on late payment and take collection measures.

6. Responsibilities

The tenant is responsible for the use and damage to the device, excluding normal wear and tear.
The tenant is responsible for all repair and maintenance costs due to improper use.
The lessor is not responsible for any damage or loss resulting from the use of the device.

6. Law and Dispute Resolution

The agreement is governed by Finnish law.
Disputes will be resolved through negotiations, otherwise the Helsinki District Court

7. Other terms and conditions

The landlord may change the terms and conditions by giving 30 days notice before the change takes effect.
The tenant agrees to comply with these terms and conditions throughout the rental period.
